Hiking in Termessos Ancient City

Combine spectacular mountain scenery with ancient history on the trails of Termessos. This comprehensive guide has everything you need to plan your adventure.

The Experience

Why Hike Termessos?

Termessos offers something no other archaeological site in Turkey can match: the thrill of discovery. Unlike heavily restored sites like Ephesus, Termessos remains wild and untamed, with ruins emerging from the forest as you hike.

The journey itself becomes part of the experience. As you climb through fragrant pine forests and past dramatic cliff faces, you follow the same paths that ancient Pisidians walked over 2,000 years ago.

At 1,050 meters elevation, the views are spectacular. On clear days, you can see the Mediterranean coast and the sprawling city of Antalya far below.
